Small add-on products use the parcel’s available weight capacity more effectively while increasing the total order value.

Rule No. 2: The Parcel Must Reach the Customer—even When Nobody Is Home
Australian buyers want a fair product price and a reasonable courier charge. They also expect something that Indian sellers sometimes underestimate: the parcel should reach them with minimal effort on their part.
Australians often work long hours, live in suburbs and may not be home when a delivery arrives.
If a private courier attempts delivery, fails and then asks the customer to drive 20 kilometres to a depot, you may lose that customer—and possibly receive a one-star review.

The buyer receives a collection notification and can collect the parcel according to Australia Post’s applicable identification and collection requirements.
For the customer, the experience feels local and convenient. For the seller, it reduces the risk of failed deliveries, stranded parcels and unnecessary returns.
