Australia and New Zealand Express Delivery Service- Coronavirus Update

Please note due to the coronavirus outbreak, and as a health safety measure, all express delivery services to AU and NZ will be handled under Authority to Leave basis. (ATL). This means there will be no signature available upon delivery; couriers will not be required to request a name or signature. Only photo of the place of delivery will be taken.

Express Update – Coronavirus (Lebanon)

In reference to circular# 31/2020, as per the Lebanese government, the airport will be closed from Wednesday.Mar.18th till Monday.Mar.23rd to contain the Coronavirus outbreak. The transit time for all Express business will be affected.

Express Update – KWI emergency situation – Coronavirus

In reference to circular# 28/2020, Kuwait government has announced two weeks off as of today Thursday March 12th, including governmental and some private sectors due to the coronavirus outbreak. Aramex Kuwait will operate on rotation basis pertaining health and safety for all staff and clients.

Note customs are still operating normally

Express Update- Clearance/Handling Charges (Oman)

Effective immediately, as per the new regulations applied by Omani customs, kindly note that customs duties and clearance charges were changed as the below table shows:

Express Update- Corona Virus (Qatif Service Update- Saudi Arabia)

In reference to circular# 23/2020, please note delivery service is still suspended, but customers can choose to self-pickup.

Express Update- Corona virus (Saudi Arabia)

Please note due to the coronavirus outbreak, effective immediately a travel ban was announced against nine countries by the Saudi Arabia Government, which are United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, South Korea, Egypt, Italy and Iraq.

The transit time for all Express business in and out of Saudi Arabia will be affected due to flight suspensions based on this travel ban.

The Operations teams at all effected countries and GSO are actively working on alternatives to route the express business noting the priority will be for B2B business.

So please expect transit delays for the e-commerce shipments till further notice.

Express Update- Coronavirus (Malaysia)

Malaysia will be on lockdown starting from 18/3/2020 till 31/3/2020, all government business and private sectors will be closed except essential businesses. Many flights are cancelling or decreasing their frequency and capacity.

Kindly expect delays in pickups and deliveries mainly for B2B business since most companies will be closed. For now, Aramex KUL will be operating as normal

Express Update- Coronavirus (Philippines)

Effective immediately, Philippines government imposed strict home quarantine measures on the country. All businesses are closed and transports are suspended.

Our offices will be closed. Note all express pickups, exports, deliveries and clearance services are suspended till further notice.

Express Update- Coronavirus (Sri Lanka)

Please note Sri Lanka government has declared a holiday for public and private sectors effective from 17th, 18th and 19th March due to the progress of coronavirus. Many flights are decreasing their frequency and capacity.

Kindly expect delays in pickups and deliveries since most companies will be closed. During this holiday Aramex CMB will be operating with skeleton staff.

Express update-Coronavirus (Azerbaijan)

Effective immediately Kindly note due to coronavirus outbreak in Azerbaijan both inbound and outbound operations are currently suspended, origins are kindly requested to hold the shipments at their side until further notice.

The GSO will notify all origins once the situation is back to normal.
